# DiskTidy

> DiskTidy is a native macOS disk analyzer and cleanup utility built for developers who use AI coding tools. It finds AI-tool residue, generated project output, duplicates, large files, and system pressure while keeping source code and prompts local.

DiskTidy supports macOS 13 Ventura or later on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Scanning is free. Personal Pro is a $39 USD one-time purchase for cleanup features on up to three personal Macs and includes 12 months of product updates. The installed version continues to work after the update window.

- Scans run locally and use file-system metadata and macOS system signals.
- DiskTidy does not upload or display source code, prompts, session contents, configuration contents, or process command-line arguments.
- Projects are excluded from automatic Safe Clean and Full Clean.
- Safe Clean targets reviewed, re-creatable caches and logs while protecting active tools.
- Full Clean is a separate two-step action limited to allowlisted data roots for supported editors that are uninstalled and inactive.
