Built for AI-heavy Macs

Your AI coding tools leave more than code behind.

DiskTidy finds runaway caches, orphaned editor data, duplicate files, and vibe-coded projects before they quietly consume your disk and memory.

One honest scan

See what AI development is costing your Mac.

DiskTidy connects storage, project, and live system signals so a giant cache is never mistaken for a harmless folder.

AI tool residue

Inventories caches, logs, sessions, extensions, backups, and orphaned roots for Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Cline, and more.

Resource anomalies

Correlates disk pressure, available memory, thermal state, SMART status, and active AI process memory at scan time.

Clean without guesswork

Running tools stay protected. Safe Clean touches re-creatable data; Full Clean uses exact allowlisted roots from uninstalled editors.

Projects layer

Your vibe projects deserve a health check too.

DiskTidy detects projects created with AI coding workflows and measures generated output without opening source code, prompts, sessions, or command history.

  • Generated folders such as node_modules, .next, dist, build, and DerivedData
  • Large repositories, stale outputs, and missing ignore rules
  • Tool markers from Cursor, Replit, Lovable, Claude, Codex, and more
  • Projects are never included in automatic cleanup

Calm by design

Scan, understand, then decide.

01

Scan locally

Choose folders or run AI Tool Health. File contents and prompts stay on your Mac.

02

Review the evidence

See exact sizes, active processes, risk thresholds, and every cleanup candidate first.

03

Clean on your terms

Use Safe Clean for routine maintenance or a two-step Full Clean for orphaned tools.

Simple pricing

The details

Questions before you let a cleaner near your Mac.

Does DiskTidy delete projects automatically?

No. Vibe projects are metadata-only reports and are explicitly excluded from Safe Clean and Full Clean.

What happens after 12 months of updates?

Your current Pro version keeps working forever. Renewing the update window is optional; pricing for renewal will be shown before it is offered.

Why is cleanup Pro if scanning is free?

The scan proves DiskTidy understands your Mac before you pay. Pro unlocks the high-value execution features: AI cleanup, system cleanup, duplicate deletion, and unlimited file deletion.

Can Full Clean remove data from an installed editor?

No. Full Clean re-checks that the supported editor is uninstalled and inactive, then uses exact allowlisted data roots and a second confirmation.

Which macOS versions are supported?

DiskTidy 1.0 supports macOS 13 Ventura or later on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
